About Lorcana cards
Lorcana cards reimagine Disney characters through six inks — Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Steel. Each ink has its own play style and roster: Amber for heroes and princesses, Amethyst for sorcerers and villains, Ruby for warriors and dragons, and so on. Most characters appear across multiple sets in different "versions" with new costs, abilities, and artwork, which is why a single name like Mickey Mouse spans 28 distinct cards.
Rarities run Common → Uncommon → Rare → Super Rare → Legendary → Enchanted → Iconic. Standard rarities make up most of any deck; the premium tiers — Enchanted alt-arts (one or two per ink per set) and the Iconics introduced in Set 9 — are the chase pulls. Top Iconics like Mickey Mouse, Brave Little Prince clear $1,700 on the secondary market; older Enchanteds like Elsa, Spirit of Winter trade in the high hundreds.
Ravensburger ships about three numbered sets a year, plus convention exclusives like the D23 Collection and tournament-only promos. Card data and TCGplayer prices on Inkdex come from the Lorcast API and refresh whenever new sets release.
